1. What services do you offer? 

We provide individualized support for children with dyslexia, language-based learning differences, and academic challenges. Our services include:

  • Orton-Gillingham Reading & Spelling Instruction (K-12)

  • Early Literacy Support (Pre-K/K)

  • Academic Tutoring (K-12) in reading comprehension, writing, spelling, vocabulary, math, and executive function skills

  • Speech-Language Therapy (Pre-K-12) for articulation, language development, phonological awareness, and more

  • Diagnostic Evaluations & Screenings for dyslexia and speech-language difficulties

 

2. What is your approach to instruction?

We use research-backed methods like Orton-Gillingham for literacy instruction and tailor our lessons to each child’s unique learning style. Sessions are one-on-one, highly individualized, and designed to build confidence and skills in a fun and engaging way.

 

3. Who are your instructors?

Our team consists of certified teachers and licensed speech-language pathologists with advanced training in working with children with learning differences.

 

4. How do I get started?

Getting started involves:

  1. Free Phone Consultation – Discuss your child’s needs, history, and goals.

  2. Paperwork & Record Review – Submit intake forms and any relevant evaluations (IEP, 504, neuropsych reports, etc.).

  3. Initial Assessment (if needed) – Formal evaluations or informal screenings help tailor instruction.

  4. Scheduling Recurring Appointments – Weekly sessions are set up with a dedicated instructor.

 

5. Where are sessions held?

We offer both in-person and virtual sessions. Our office is located at:

Parents may wait in our reception area or drop off students but must be available by phone.

6. Do you offer evaluations and screenings?

Yes! We provide both formal diagnostic evaluations (for dyslexia and speech-language concerns) and informal screenings to assess learning strengths and challenges. Evaluations include a written report and follow-up consultation.

 

7. How is student progress monitored?

Progress is tracked using evidence-based assessments, and families receive a written progress update every six months. Instructors can also communicate with schools to align support.

 

8. What are your payment policies?

  • Payment is accepted via credit/debit card, FSA/HSA, cash, or check.

  • Autopay is available through our client portal.

  • We do not bill insurance directly, but superbills can be provided for certain speech-language therapy sessions.

 

9. Do you offer group programs?

Yes! We offer Kids’ Book Clubs to build reading skills and social connections in a fun, small-group setting.

 

  • Address common concerns like: “How soon can we start?”, “What if my child has already been diagnosed?”, etc.

  • Offer reassurance about flexibility, customized learning plans, and next steps.
